Helbingbrücke Gallery

Helbingbrücke is a major highway bridge on the busiest motorway in Germany, the A40. It is located in the next to the central station and connecteed directly to the eastern end of the well-known Ruhrschnellweg Tunnel.

The pillars of that bridge at Helbingstraße is home of project "Stützwerk Farbe", which ims to cover the depressing concrete pillars of the A40 highway bridge with vibrant art. Multiple local graffiti and street artists — such as Eike, COSY, and Olli Rose from the collective Signs and Wonders — have designed individual pillars.
