Transformer station Zollverein

The painted transformer station on Gelsenkirchener Straße at the Zollverein site was decorated in the summer of 2005. It was a cooperative project between the energy company RWE (as the owner/operator of the station) and students from the Gustav-Heinemann-Gesamtschule (a comprehensive school in Essen-Schonnebeck).
