Great Tern, Hen Harrier, Curlew

Work by Joost Zwanenburg featuring a Great Tern, a Hen Harrier, and a Curlew (the national bird of the Netherlands). The work is based on pictures made by Jos van den Berg from BirdingTexel.

The @vogelinformatiecentrum on Texel announces a Bird of the Year every year for which they raise funds. In 2020 it was the European Turtle Dove. The intention is that the middle image will be updated to the new Bird of the Year next season. At this moment the middle image is showing the Hen Harrier.
