Paulo Paulino Guajajara

The mural, created in 2021, is part of People In Need’s “Faces of Climate Change”, which seeks to motivate people to become involved in solving global issues and challenges facing today’s world. It portrays Paulo Paulino Guajajara, an Indigenous environmental activist from Brazil who was killed in 2019 during an attack by illegal loggers while defending the Amazon rainforest.
