Resembling the peaks of the Warrumbungles and the Castlereagh River that runs through the town, the artwork depicts the journey of ancestors and a collection of stories past. The Burra Bee Dee mission is painted in the centre, as a homage of Aboriginal history as a place of justice and struggle. The base of the Mary Cain Bridge is painted with the mountain range, while the three pylons represent the river adjacent.
