Vincent Glowinski is a well-known artist in the Brussels and international street art scene. Under the pseudonym BONOM, he leaves his mark in several cities while painting clandestinely. His often explicit murals appeared spontaneously in the most unexpected places. This often earned him the wrath of local authorities and the police.
This mural on the Canal Zone in Brussels shows the decapitation of a child. The work is believed to be inspired by a painting by Italian artist Caravaggio depicting Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac from the Jewish Old Testament.
