The Suffragettes and the 1913 Bombing

Runcorn was one of the 41 sites of the Suffragette movement. The artwork also relates to the attempt to bomb the house built for David Lloyd George at nearby Walton Heath Golf Links by the suffragettes. This mural is a part of the Dukesfield Murals commissioned by Runcorn and painted in September 2024.
