I’m Not Weird, I’m Limited Edition

This vibrant mural by Benzi Brofman brings together a striking mix of classical art references, pop culture, and contemporary street aesthetics. At its center is a portrait of Frida Kahlo, flanked by visual nods to Vincent van Gogh and Salvador Dalí, while a curious cat and playful elements like a taped banana introduce humor and accessibility.

The composition blends different visual languages—realistic portraiture, graffiti-style lettering, and illustrative elements—into a cohesive, high-energy piece. The bold statement “I’m not weird, I am limited edition” reinforces the mural’s core message: individuality is something to be celebrated, not hidden.

Created during a series of projects in Berlin, this mural was painted in Kreuzberg, a neighborhood known for its diversity and strong street art culture. According to the artist, the only request from the building’s owner was to make it colorful. Beyond its visual impact, the work is rooted in his personal story: growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, art became both a refuge and a way to connect with others.

The mural functions not just as decoration, but as a moment of connection in the street, reflecting Brofman’s intention to communicate, uplift, and bring a sense of positivity into everyday urban life.
