Eros

Project about Football, sponsored by Germany Ambassy in Belgrade for Euro 2024.

I thought of developing the project around the theme of love, trying to unite different cultures and common knowledge, in this case the German and Serbian cultures. I used the arrow of Eros (which is part of a universal culture) as a symbol representing the love of young people towards football, and sport in general. The general scene depicts a boy who has won his love, the facial expression underlines the personal pride in having achieved a goal, sometimes tiring. There are references to German and Serbian culture, represented by semi-transparent ornaments in the upper and lower part of the work
