Commissioned by Peter Rogers, this artwork showcases iconic Bathurst landmarks and pays homage to the Gold Rush era, specifically highlighting buildings on Howick Street. The buildings in front of the mural were once owned by Mr. Meagher, a key figure in the historical provisioning store scene.

The inclusion of Peter Rogers' family in the mural symbolises Bathurst's significance in their lives. Completed after three and a half months of meticulous work, the mural stands as a lasting tribute to the city's rich history.
