These stenciled koi fish are a prominent street art installation created by artist Jeremy Novy. Novy has painted thousands of these fish on sidewalks in cities across the United States to bring whimsy to urban spaces. The stencil designs are often applied using spray paint or sometimes created with a pressure washer. While some locations are publicly known, many appear randomly, turning forgotten concrete into public testimony.
