UtOPiA's mural in Seixal is a perfect representation of the artistic identity and maturity that the Brazilian artist, based in Portugal, has developed throughout his career. His work is easily recognizable in the international street art scene thanks to a series of well-defined formal and thematic characteristics:

1. The Sensual and Expressive Female Portrait

The central figure of the work revolves around a figurative female face, the most recurrent motif in UtOPiA's production. Through a deep gaze and stylized features, the artist does not seek photorealistic hyperrealism, but rather to evoke an atmosphere of mystery, mysticism, and restrained sensuality.

2. Chromatic Duality and Play of Light

One of the artist's most powerful visual signatures is how he divides faces using color to suggest different states or conceptual dualities (such as the sun and the moon, day and night, or calm and energy).  This mural clearly illustrates this transition:

The left half is dominated by cool tones (deep blues and sky blues) combined with textures reminiscent of outer space, nebulae, and starry constellations.

The right half transitions seamlessly to warm tones (reds, oranges, and fiery yellows) that simulate the impact of sunlight or fire.
