Over 70 visionary artists from across the globe are set to transform more than 4000 square meters of urban arena at the "ZOMERFABRIEK" in street art district Berchem, during an electrifying weekend of live painting, culture, and community at Meeting of Styles Belgium. Guided by this year’s theme, "The Chosen Cause," the artists channel personal stories and convictions into bold visual expressions.
Among them is Polograph, a French muralist based in Montréal, whose figurative style blends semi-realistic characters and animals in a distinctive, recurring color palette. Having started his artistic journey in 2006 along Paris’ ‘Petite Ceinture’ railway line, he rediscovered his passion for murals after moving to Canada. “It was my first time in Antwerp,” he shares, “and I was struck by the mix of strong historical architecture and a vibrant urban art scene.” For his first Meeting of Styles experience, Polograph tackled the theme with a mural inspired by the Pact with the Devil, an interpretation that reflects both adaptability and imagination.
Beyond the paint, the weekend was a celebration of exchange: of ideas, techniques, and cultural voices. And as always, the walls of MOS Belgium will carry those stories long after the spray cans are silent.
