Fàbrica Vella

 Between October and November 2022, Barcelona based artistic center B-Murals curated and produced Osona Artimur Festival, a never been done initiative of the Department of Tourism of Osona (an idyllic region up north BCN full of rivers, mountains and beautiful landscapes), in collaboration with the Catalan company Transit Projectes.

19 well renowned artists from the international muralism scene, the Spanish contemporary art world and some local guns selected through open calls and participatory processes, intervened the streets and the public space of 5 different villages - Prats de Lluçanès, Manlleu, Sant Julià de Vilatorta, Sant Bartomeu del Grau and Alpens -, supported by an extensive production team which included assistants, runners, photographers and filmers.

 This mural by Jan Vallverdú (@blahcaduco ) in the village of Alpens, Osona, is based on the traditional craftsmanship of the village, forging, which is a discipline that has a strong presence in the architecture of the village and its public spaces.

Jan Vallverdú has created a large floral composition on the façade of the village's "Fàbrica Vella" (Old Factory), which is the annual international meeting point for forgers, thus making a pictorial intervention of a sculptural nature, emphasising the volumes and textures, together with the chromatism of rust that the iron takes on with the passage of time.

Este mural realizado por Jan Vallverdú (@blahcaduco ) en la población de Alpens, Osona, parte de la práctica artesanal y tradicional del pueblo, la forja, la cual es una disciplina que tiene una grande presencia dentro del de la arquitectura del pueblo y sus espacios públicos.

Jan Vallverdú ha llevado a cabo una gran composición floral en la fachada de la "Fàbrica Vella" del pueblo, y punto de encuentro internacional de forjador que se hace anualmente, haciendo así, una intervención pictórica de carácter escultórico poniendo énfasis con los volúmenes y las texturas, juntamente el cromatismo de óxido que coge el hierro con el paso del tiempo.
