Artworks don't always have to tell their own story. Often, the artist leaves the burden and honor of judgment to the viewer, and this is precisely the case with NemO's work.

We, the viewers, see a grotesque figure with wide eyes; his unnaturally long nose is on fire, creating a stream of smoke.

And that's all we're given to know. As for the rest, it's up to us to identify the lies that the work, perhaps, is trying to suggest.
