Born in 1972 in Clichy, Frédéric "AIR" Gutierrez discovered hip-hop culture at the age of 12 through the iconic French TV show H.I.P. H.O.P.

Quickly captivated by graffiti, he began painting the streets, trains, and Paris metro system in 1986.

Inspired by pioneers such as DARCO and SCALE, he developed a distinctive style driven by energy and a constant exploration of new artistic mediums.

In the late 1980s, he traveled to New York, the birthplace of graffiti, before continuing his journey through London, Amsterdam, Munich, and Montreal.

These experiences broadened his artistic vision and strengthened his connection to the international hip-hop culture.

In 1991, he joined the DUC crew alongside SINO, SHUCK2, and SECT, further establishing his place within the history of the French graffiti movement.
