Nel pensare a questa istallazione pittorica diffusa per i comuni del Delta del Po Veneto, ho subito visualizzato alcune immagini ancora fresche nella memoria di tutti, riguardanti il periodo del primo lockdown, durante il quale le città erano svuotate e abbiamo visto diverse immagini di animali selvatici vagare per le strade deserte. Si diceva che “senza l’uomo, la natura si riprende i suoi spazi”.

Attraverso 7 delicati interventi pittorici in altrettanti comuni, ho immaginato scenari dove la convivenza fra uomo, architettura e natura possa essere la normalità.

Il racconto pittorico prende la forma di un cammino che si trasforma in relazione ai muri che incontra: ed ecco fenicotteri, anatre, pesci e uccelli di varie specie presenti nel fiume, sbucare curiosi fra case, scuole e teatri, portando con sé la loro innata grazie ed eleganza. Altre opere dello stesso progetto si trovano nei comuni di: Rosolina, Porto Tolle, Ariano, Taglio di Po, Corbola, Loreo e Porto Viro.

In thinking about this pictorial installation spread across the municipalities of the Veneto Po Delta, I immediately visualized some images still fresh in everyone's memory, regarding the period of the first lockdown, during which the cities were emptied and we saw several images of wild animals wandering through the deserted streets. It was said that "without man, nature takes back its spaces". Through 7 delicate pictorial interventions in as many municipalities, I imagined scenarios where the coexistence of man, architecture and nature can be normal. The pictorial story takes the form of a path that transforms in relation to the walls it encounters: and here are flamingos, ducks, fish and birds of various species present in the river, curiously emerging between houses, schools and theaters, bringing with them their innate grace and elegance. Other works of the same project are found in the municipalities of: Rosolina, Porto Tolle, Ariano, Taglio di Po, Corbola, Loreo and Porto Viro.
