Generationen für ein buntes Ringgleis

KUNSTpunkte are community-designed spots in the city of Braunschweig. After a first succsessful installation in 2010 the wall was augmented by th einstallation of wooden panels. Seven seniors from the nursing home "Am Ringgleis" and seven third graders of the primary school Diesterwegstraße, accompanied by Nicola Böß and the educator Cornelia Frohse, came together four times in a creative process in the period from May to June 2012. Under the guidance of the local picture-maker Wolf Menzel they designed and painted wooden panels covering the topic of "movement", which were then integrated into the artistic overall design of the five other wall sections. Wolf Menzel was in charge of the artistic implementation on the wall.

The result can be seen on the boundary wall of the former company Bühler/Miag between Ernst-Amme-Straße and Hildesheimer Straße. Currently the artwork is partly grown over and deteriated.
