The outside wall of the building is covered by an old mural depicting major sights of the city, such as the lion statue, the cathedral, the cloth traders building, and the tower of the new city hall. It also shows modern elements of the city, mainly the modern buildings but also motivs related to hip-hop and graffiti culture. The labeled building of the NLB indicated that they might have commisioned this work.

The mural includes the name pieces of unknow artists and crew. It also shows a date tag from 1993.

The artwork is significantly weatherd by now and has many cracked areas of paint and broken mortar.
