In the author's words: An elderly woman remembers her youth, her youthful gaze. Her hands now reflect the hard work of those years and the arthritis, the pain of time's passage. Two generations: one looking to the future and to her village, and her grandmother holding the fruits of that labor from so many years ago. Celia and her grandmother Ramona, the inspiration for this creation.
