Tu hogar eres TÚ

"Your Home is YOU." Palenciana (Córdoba)

"Your Home is YOU" is a community mural project paying tribute to the elderly women of Palenciana, in Córdoba.

These women completed the mural by adding the phrase "Your Home is YOU," which speaks to their silenced stories and their lives within the home, often forced into it. May they never forget that they carry, and always have carried, the light within.

This project is part of the first "Palenciana Fest" Urban Art Competition: Art for Equality in this town.

«Tu Hogar eres TÚ» es un proyecto de intervención mural comunitaria homenaje a las mujeres mayores de Palenciana, en Córdoba.

Estas mujeres culminaron la intervención mural incorporando la frase «Tu Hogar eres TÚ», que habla de sus historias silenciadas y su vida dentro de los hogares, en muchas ocasiones obligada. Que nunca olviden que la luz la llevan y llevaron siempre dentro.

Esta intervención se ubica dentro del primer Certamen de Arte Urbano «Palenciana Fest». Arte por la Igualdad de dicha localidad.
