» ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Nestled in the garden that unites the Corvette, Frégate and Caravelle retirement homes, the fresco by Wuper Kec is a magnificent ode to solidarity, this human feeling that binds generations around the joy of helping and caring. others. Do not hesitate to open the doors of the garden of the EPHAD (accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people) the Corvette, the Frégate and the Caravelle to discover a wall which is transformed into a magnificent painting symbolizing solidarity between generations. Its author, Wuper Kec, is as simple as his talent is evident. “I like to paint scenes from everyday life in a realistic style,” confides the young Serbian artist. “My goal is not to create works that would like to transmit a great philosophy. For me, the important thing is life as it is. I try to present it as faithfully as possible with a technique that I hope is good and colors that create the right atmosphere. » The chosen theme is obvious given the location of this new work of art at the Boulogne open-air museum. “It seemed natural to me to represent an elderly person assisted by a medical professional” continues the artist. “To prepare this wall, I took a photo of my wife taking care of my great-grandmother. But of course, this is all symbolic. The important thing is not the figure represented. Everyone can see their loved one there. » And to situate the scene, “the left part represents Boulogne-sur-Mer through a vision of a landscape which represents the cliff, the beach and the sea”. A knowing look, a thoughtful gesture to restyle this woman who smiles kindly at us, all in soft colors, this work, although still in progress, has already won over many residents and professionals who stop to take a photo and admire the work of the artist. “It’s a real pleasure to be here,” continues Wuper Kec. “I was able to speak with the elderly, but also with the staff, especially during my lunch meals. People are friendly and seem to appreciate my work. » Created entirely with a brush and roller, this new fresco will come completely to life in the coming days. With an artist who feels good in Boulogne-sur-Mer. “I had known about the festival for several years, because great artists have come here. The organization is top notch. I can even say that it is the best organized festival I have ever been to. It is truly an honor and a great joy for me to be part of the program this year. And to see my wall being part of a journey featuring the works of Zoerism, Jarus and Taxis, three artists who are among the best for me. »</div>

This time, his fresco celebrates ordinary life, sports, and friendship, reflecting the simplicity of his upbringing in Indija, Serbia. Wuper Kec focuses on the everyday moments of life, painting one of his friends during a training session, with no hidden messages—just life as it is. Inspired by Impressionism, especially in this year marking its 150th anniversary, Wuper has shifted from focusing on details to embracing a freer, more expressive style that captures movement and emotion. He intentionally uses non-traditional colors to convey a fresh perspective. The entire mural was painted with a brush, contributing to Boulogne's growing open-air museum, now with 11 murals along this vibrant street.Wuper expresses great admiration for his placement near Borondo, an artist he deeply respects, and praises the festival's organization. His mural at number 29 rue Laennec brings joy to both the artist and local residents, who appreciate the warmth and humanity captured in his artwork.
