Il ne faut pas hésiter à pousser les portes du jardin des EPHAD (Etablissements d’hébergements pour personnes âgées dépendantes) la Corvette, la Frégate et la Caravelle pour découvrir un mur qui se transforme en magnifique tableau symbolisant la solidarité entre les générations. Son auteur, Wuper Kec, est aussi simple que son talent est évident. « J’aime peindre des scènes de la vie quotidienne dans un style réaliste » confie le jeune artiste serbe. « Mon but n’est pas de réaliser des œuvres qui voudraient transmettre une grande philosophie. Pour moi, l’important est la vie telle qu’elle est. Je cherche à la présenter le plus fidèlement possible avec une technique que j’espère bonne et des couleurs qui créent l’atmosphère adéquate. » Le thème choisi est une évidence au vu de l’emplacement de cette nouvelle œuvre d’art du musée à ciel ouvert boulonnais. « Il m’est apparu naturel de représenter une personne âgée assistée par une professionnelle médicale » reprend l’artiste. « Pour préparer ce mur, j’ai pris une photo de ma femme qui s’occupe de mon arrière-grand-mère. Mais bien sûr, tout ceci est symbolique. L’important n’est pas la figure représentée. Tout le monde peut y voir la personne qui lui est chère. » Et pour situer la scène, « la partie gauche représente Boulogne-sur-Mer à travers une vision d’un paysage qui représente la falaise, la plage et la mer ». Un regard complice, un geste attentionné pour recoiffer cette femme qui nous sourit avec bienveillance, le tout dans des couleurs douces, cette œuvre, bien que toujours en cours, a déjà conquis les résidents et professionnels nombreux à s’arrêter prendre un cliché et admirer le travail de l’artiste. « C’est un vrai plaisir d’être ici » continue Wuper Kec. « J’ai pu parler avec les personnes âgées, mais aussi avec le personnel, notamment lors de mes repas le midi. Les gens sont bienveillants et ont l’air d’apprécier mon travail. » Réalisée entièrement au pinceau et au rouleau, cette nouvelle fresque va prendre totalement vie dans les prochains jours. Avec un artiste qui se sent bien à Boulogne-sur-Mer. « Je connaissais le festival depuis plusieurs années, car de grands artistes sont passés ici. L’organisation est au top. Je peux même dire que c’est le festival le mieux organisé auquel j’ai pu participer. C’est vraiment un honneur et une grande joie pour moi de faire partie de la programmation cette année. But of course, this is all symbolic. The important thing is not the figure represented. Everyone can see their loved one there. » And to situate the scene, “the left part represents Boulogne-sur-Mer through a vision of a landscape which represents the cliff, the beach and the sea”. A knowing look, a thoughtful gesture to restyle this woman who smiles kindly at us, all in soft colors, this work, although still in progress, has already won over many residents and professionals who stop to take a photo and admire the work of the artist. “It’s a real pleasure to be here,” continues Wuper Kec. “I was able to speak with the elderly, but also with the staff, especially during my lunch meals. People are friendly and seem to appreciate my work. » Created entirely with a brush and roller, this new fresco will come completely to life in the coming days. Cette fois, sa fresque célèbre la vie ordinaire, le sport et l'amitié, reflétant la simplicité de son éducation en Inde, en Serbie. Wuper Kec se concentre sur les moments de la vie quotidienne, peignant l'un de ses amis lors d'une séance d'entraînement, sans aucun message caché, juste la vie telle qu'elle est.Inspiré par l'impressionnisme, en particulier en cette année marquant son 150e anniversaire, Wuper est passé de la concentration sur les détails à l'adoption d'un style plus libre et plus expressif qui capture le mouvement et l'émotion. This time, his fresco celebrates ordinary life, sports, and friendship, reflecting the simplicity of his upbringing in Indija, Serbia. Wuper Kec focuses on the everyday moments of life, painting one of his friends during a training session, with no hidden messages—just life as it is. Inspired by Impressionism, especially in this year marking its 150th anniversary, Wuper has shifted from focusing on details to embracing a freer, more expressive style that captures movement and emotion. He intentionally uses non-traditional colors to convey a fresh perspective. The entire mural was painted with a brush, contributing to Boulogne's growing open-air museum, now with 11 murals along this vibrant street.Wuper expresses great admiration for his placement near Borondo, an artist he deeply respects, and praises the festival's organization. His mural at number 29 rue Laennec brings joy to both the artist and local residents, who appreciate the warmth and humanity captured in his artwork.

Né Dejan Ivanović, Wuper Kec est un artiste serbe qui vit à Indija (Serbie). Il est diplômé de l’Ecole Polytechnique de Belgrade et commence dès 2006 à s’intéresser au monde du street art et du graffiti. Peaufinant son art au fil de ses rencontres urbaines, il finit par s’intéresser plus particulièrement à la peinture murale à la recherche de sa personnalité artistique. Il trouvera finalement son identité grâce à une approche plus figurative que son travail initial. C’est ainsi qu’il commence à peindre plus régulièrement avec des pinceaux ; améliorant sans cesse la qualité de ses traits et de son travail. Wuper Kec se fait alors connaître pour ses fresques qui mettent en avant l’humain et la vie en Serbie. Depuis 2016, il consacre une partie de sa vie artistique à la peinture à l’huile et participe à de nombreux festivals à travers le monde. Sa fresque autour du métier d’agriculteurs met en avant le terroir local à travers le chicon, si populaire à Saint-Symphorien. Wuper Kec a aimé peindre pour l’Art habite la Ville : " les habitants ont vraiment été sympas avec moi et je suis très heureux que mon œuvre soit bien accueillie ici sur cette jolie place de Saint-Symphorien ".---------------------------------------------------------------Born Dejan Ivanović, Wuper Kec is a Serbian artist living in Indija (Serbia). He graduated from the Belgrade Polytechnic and began to take an interest in the world of street art and graffiti in 2006. Perfecting his art through his urban encounters, he ended up taking a particular interest in mural painting in search of his artistic personality. He finally found his identity through a more figurative approach than his initial work. He began to paint more regularly with brushes, constantly improving the quality of his strokes and his work. Wuper Kec became known for his frescoes, which focus on people and life in Serbia. Since 2016, he has devoted part of his artistic life to oil painting, taking part in numerous festivals around the world. His fresco around the farming profession highlights the local terroir through the chicon, so popular in Saint-Symphorien.Wuper Kec enjoyed painting for l'Art habite la Ville: ‘The locals have been really nice to me and I'm delighted that my work has been well received here in this pretty square in Saint-Symphorien.’
