Kilia Llano is a multidisciplinary Dominican artist with over fifteen years of experience in public art and muralism. Her work has been developed in the Dominican Republic, the United States, Colombia, and Italy, addressing themes of Caribbean identity, social justice, and environmental awareness. Alongside her studio practice—which explores colonial legacies, the denial of Blackness, and the ancestral bond between humans and nature—she understands public space as a site for dialogue, reflection, and transformation.
