<p>For years now Jaune has been stencilling his little fluo garbage men in the streets.&nbsp;<br>In 2013 during the Day One Festival he created a small world on the main square of this appartment complex.<br>You'll find these little street sweepers interacting in another way you're used to creating funny little stories.<br>If you'll look closely you'll find all the artists involved in this festival written on the little walls in graffiti style.</p><p>Day One Festival ( 2013) oktober.</p>

<p>Jaune dropped some mini gardeners in the neighbourhood of Gentbrugge in Gent. The goal is to pay a tribute to Louis van Houtte, a botanist from the 19th century who brought a lot of tropical plant from South America to Belgium, at a time when it couldn’t be delivered in less than 3 working days. He travelled to Brazil in a boat, trudge in the jungle for days to find unknown plants, made it's way back to Gent just to bring back flowers. Just imagine.</p><p>Part of the Street art Ledeberg project by Wallin' vzw, supported by Stad Gent.</p>

<div>Jaune, Belgian street artist, came to Porto for the festival "Gaia todo um mundo"in 2017.<br>He mainly stages miniature cleaners of the street, but this time drinking Port wine to be more "local",&nbsp; with his personal gaze and stencil technique.<br>Through these drawings, we observe a lot of realism and sense of humor. I give highlighting to this profession and people, are too little considered on our society.</div>

<p>The city of Loan in Northern France has wrapped up its first street art festival,&nbsp;Festival d’art Urbain de Laon, in 2022. Organised by&nbsp;Ville de Laon&nbsp;and curated by&nbsp;Christian Guemy (aka artist C215),&nbsp;the city invited sixteen international street artists to paint fourteen monumental murals in the Champagne and Montreuil districts of the medieval town. Among the artists invited was Jaune.</p><p>Stencil artist and urban interventionist from Brussels called JAUNE enjoys subverting public spaces with humour and subtlety. Inspired by his experience as a sanitation worker, he depicts small characters in fluorescent vests, who are often ignored despite their striking visibility. This play on contrasts between the visible and the invisible gives rise to compositions full of irony and lightness, where workers in the shadows become the protagonists of absurd and poetic scenes. Since 2011, his work has engaged in a dialogue with urbanism, challenging passers-by and giving a voice back to the city's discreet figures.</p>

De Fransman is al meer dan 20 jaar bezig met zijn vak en hij wordt dan ook tot de top der stencil-artiesten gerekend. De ware kracht van streetart schuilt in de perfecte plaats vinden voor je kunst, vindt C215. Hij kiest niet zomaar wat mensen uit voor zijn doordringende en kleurrijke portretten, maar schildert vaak ouderen, bedelende kinderen en vluchtelingen – steeds in fiere en dappere poses – omdat net zij te weinig gezien worden in onze samenleving.&nbsp;<br>_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________<br> C215 is a true phenomenon and a big name in street art. This Frenchman has been active in his field for over 20 years and he is therefore considered as one of the top stencil artists. According to C215 the true power of street art lies in finding the perfect place for one’s art. He also does not choose people randomly for his penetrating and colourful portraits, but he often paints the elderly, or begging children and refugees. C215 feels they are not visible enough in our society and he always depicts them in proud and brave poses.&nbsp;</div>

These funny characters are the work of street artist Jaune (BE), in collaboration with Vroom &amp; Varossieau we invited him to come to Breda. Invisible workersJaune’s work, which can be found on many walls in Europe and abroad, consists of small, humorous garbagemen and workmen in fluorescent safety clothingThe idea for his stencil art arose during the time Jaune himself worked as a sanitation worker. <p>One of my favorites of Jaune in Heerlen. Jaune has quite some works where he makes use of the situation at hand. Defects like this broken glass for example are turned into intentional work.</p><p>This mine worker lives in the elevator of Cultural Center 'Schunk'. This former department store was a household name during the mining days and a great example of the bold architecture in those days (1930's) by Frits Peutz.</p><p>When you walk up the stairs you might also encounter some other busy mine worker friends.</p>

<p>A bit hidden at the car parking place of ACV. When the gates are open, you can have a closer look. </p><p>This is the biggest outdoor mural made by Jaune ever. He is well known for his little garbage men hidden in many cities worldwide. But here... you cannot miss them. He never painted so many people in one mural, there are more than 1,300 figures in this tower. <br>Preparation for this mural took 8 months, painting it 8 days. </p><p>A mural made for ACV union.</p>
