"Freie Platzwahl" (Free Choice of Seats) is a vibrant mural that references the relic gardens of Bentlage Monastery. As the first mural for the EmsSideGallery by graffiti artist Florian Köster, it connects the natural beauty of the forest with the cultural history of the region. The use of floral motifs reminiscent of the decorations on the relics not only creates a visual connection to the nearby monastery, but also addresses the harmonious integration of street art into the natural forest environment. The combination is intended to create a positive sense of disorientation, as street art is typically found in urban spaces. Ultimately, this contradiction is to be resolved through a harmonious overall image, so that the mural is not only an eye-catcher, but also an invitation to experience street art as accessible and enriching. Thanks to careful restoration work, the portrait was subsequently fully restored and has been preserved in its original condition ever since. The interplay of creative design and loving restoration makes this piece a special work for the artist, reflecting both the creative energy and the rebuilding process. It is a living example of how art can be preserved through care and dedication.

2 Santos

This portrait depicts Chester Bennington in striking black and white. With expressive lines and subtle shading, the artwork captures the emotional depth and powerful presence of the late Linkin Park singer. The quote "When life leaves us blind, love keeps us kind" from the song "The Messenger" is integrated next to the portrait. The combination of the expressive portrait and the inspiring quote creates a touching homage to Chester Bennington and his message of love and compassion that endures even beyond death. THE MESSENGER

Salvador Dalí in various shades of purple, focusing on his surrealist appearance. The title "advanced vanDALIsm" is a deliberate allusion to graffiti art, often perceived as vandalic, and emphasizes creative rebellion. The use of purple lends the artwork a mystical and artistic atmosphere, offering a modern interpretation of Dalí's surrealist world.
