<p>Lisbon, 2024</p><p>Inspired by the history and daily life of the Bairro dos 7 Moinhos in Campo de Ourique.</p><p>The place and its urban uniqueness—a small village in the heart of the city. This characteristic of an "island" in the midst of Lisbon's fast-paced rush, a space for pause and for reconnecting with childhood memories of the village, is what struck us the most as we walked through the winding streets of the neighborhood.</p><p>An initiative by the Campo de Ourique Parish Council with curation by the Urban Art Gallery of the Lisbon City Council.</p>

<div>"To Grow", this project comes up while we are facing a general lockdown, so we spend most of our time at home. Reflecting about it and trying to emphasize the impact of taking time to focus on ourselves, instead of the chaos lived in the outside world, we decided to address topics such as our roots, the calm brought by our home and neighbourhood, and ultimately to represent the place where we grow up, find ourselves, pursue our dreams and make plans for the future.</div><div>.</div><div>Pt 1 "Contemplate" - With this painting we want to transmit the tranquility and dreams we carry, as if the plant was a metaphore about our lives, because such as plants, we also go through the proccess of personal growth. With the climbing plants covering the building we want to pass on that feeling of protection and harmony as well.<br><br></div>
