About the artist

Afonsoul is a Brazilian artist based in Portugal and has established himself as a prominent name among the new generation of Brazilian artists. His self-taught career began during the pandemic, driven by the urge to express himself and make a difference in a world that was in isolation. Initially, not knowing how to paint, he started by producing digital collages, which gradually evolved into drawings composed of organic lines. These quickly developed into a style that blends realism with graphic elements, inviting the viewer to dream and allow themselves to experience emotions that are often confined by our daily routines. Despite his young career, the artist has already created murals and canvases in 7 countries and continues to paint tirelessly with the goal of making our world a better place, using art as a means to invite us to feel and dream without judgment.
